"It wasn't so much a diet as understanding what I was eating and the benefits I could have from the right type of food and to be honest it was a huge amount of fun for me.
One of the main health problems I was extreme exhaustion a week before my period which may not sound like much but I have 3 children and taking a rest for a week is really not an option. It wasn't a case of being a little bit tired - I'm talking a complete inability to physically stand up and do basic things.
Julia suggested along with the general healthier eating plan to try linseeds daily ( they don't look great but actually taste quite nice - I am a bit of a wimp with taste) and they worked so well for me.

I am now growing my nails, looking after my skin and hair, drinking more water, I have even dug out my mountain bike and am learning how to maintain it.
I have so much more energy and feel so happy with my life, all my friends and family have noticed a major change in me as a person, more bubbly and happy.

As a single working parent on a tight budget – both for time and money – I was advised on ways I could incorporate exercise into my weekly routine e.g. walking or cycling and make small changes to my diet (I used to drink lots of smoothies but Julia said that by changing some of the fruit for vegetables would cut down on the fruit sugars).
